I had an issue with my iphone so I was needing to try and completely reset my phone to fix it. icloud let me down and didn't have my backup I had recently created. I had to resort to trying my last computer backup from 2023. When I tried to restore from it I got a message saying it was corrupted. I got the software and did the backup repair. The first time I did it, the backup did not work correctly. I didn't have my photos, videos, contacts, and my apps were in complete disarray. I contacted their support and Kelly got with me very quickly. We worked through a few things sharing the repair logs and redid the backup repair. The second time it worked! It sucks I don't have the photos and videos from the last year and a half, but at least I have everything from before that. I highly recommend them if you are having iphone backup issues.

My very large (over 700GB) backup on iTunes was corrupted but this tool fixed it. I kept getting error messages and I thought I would need to start all over again with a new phone, no contacts, no messages, and worse. A quick search brought me to Decipher. I thought, "if it's this easy, why isn't Apple offering this for their product?" I was extremely skeptical, but also considered anything under $30 was a bargain as a possible fix. I downloaded the software, ran it, hooked up my phone, and all is right in my Apple world now. There was a moment when the process came to a standstill, and I almost interrupted it. When that time comes for you, DO NOT TOUCH! Have patience and it will most likely pay off. I say most likely because there are a few that have not had luck with this software. Thank goodness I wasn't one of them.

Although in the end their SW couldn't save my corrupted backup, on which -due to an iOS bug- unencrypted incremental data were added to an originally encrypted file, I received an amazing help by tech support (namely Kelly), who very timely and professionally analysed what had happened to my file by looking at their SW's log and explained to me why their SW couldn't recover from such a dramatic situation. Even though I will have to use an older backup, I have to say that their professionality and competence really helped me understanding what happened and learning what to do in the future. Perfect! My iPhone was damaged and I had to install my iMazing backup on the new one. The restore failed "backup is corrupted", so I googled an found Decipher Tools. I bought it and it started to repair my backup and displayed a success message. I was unable to find the repaired backup for restore with iMazing, but with a little help from the guys here everything went straight forward and I successfully restore my iPhone.

Après 2 semaines de tentatives diverses suites à un changement de téléphone j'ai enfin pu réparer ma sauvegarde =) J'ai des photos qui apparaisse grisées sur ma restauration, mais je peux les extraire de la sauvegarde malgré tout. J'ai récupéré mon répertoire, mes notes et l'ensemble de mes données. Je vais veiller à multiplier les sauvegardes, afin de ne pas retomber sur une sauvegarde unique et corrompu. Merci encore
